1. What Are Cookies?

Cookies are small text files stored on your device that contain information about your browsing activity. They allow websites to remember information about you across visits and sessions.

We save your last selected track in local browser storage under gvo:last-track. This preference stays on your device until you clear site data. Listening works if storage is blocked.

2.3 Listening Counts and Reactions

Local storage under gvo:engagement-browser holds a random identifier and its expiry date for up to 180 days. When storage is unavailable, we use a temporary identifier for the current page session. This identifier accompanies page visits, plays after at least 30 seconds of listening, and positive or negative reactions.

The server turns the identifier into private keyed hashes to avoid duplicate counts and remember your selected reactions. The engagement store does not retain the raw identifier or your IP address. Deduplication keys expire after 30 minutes; reaction records expire after 180 days and are cleaned up when later count or reaction updates are processed. Aggregate visit and play totals remain cumulative. You can change or remove a reaction by using the reaction controls.

2.4 Web Analytics

Vercel Web Analytics measures traffic, such as page views, device type, and referrer, without third-party cookies. It uses a request hash for visitor measurement and discards its visitor session identifier after 24 hours. This is separate from our first-party listening and reaction counts. 3. Other Services

Original audio is hosted on Vercel. The public player has no embedded video player or payment checkout. Following an external social or contact link takes you to a service with its own privacy and storage practices.

4. Your Choices

Your browser’s privacy settings let you clear or block cookies and site storage. Clearing site data removes the saved track and local engagement identifier; it does not remove aggregate counts already recorded. A later visit may create a new identifier. Blocking local storage does not prevent playback or temporary session measurement.

Browser tools that block analytics requests may prevent measurement. Disabling JavaScript also disables interactive playback and reactions. Contact us using the address below for privacy requests.
